The Spanish Society for the History of Science and Technology (SEHCYT)<\/a> will hold its fifteenth congress in Gij\u00f3n from Wednesday 18th to Saturday 21st June 2025. The symposia and papers are grouped around six thematic axes:
– Scientific and technical heritage: challenges of a cultural heritage.<\/em>
– Science and technology in Asturias: from modernity to the present time.<\/em>
– Transnational networks, transfers and circulation of techno-scientific knowledge.<\/em>
– Challenges of environmental history.<\/em>
– The contributions of women in the production of knowledge.<\/em>
– History of science, medicine and technology: a plurality of perspectives.<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Among them, the Energy Humanities<\/em> group will participate in the axis \u2018Challenges of environmental history\u2019<\/strong>, in the table n\u00ba 11 under the title History of energy from the perspective of the Energy Humanities: challenges, possibilities and perspectives<\/em><\/strong>. – 12,45h. Pablo Mart\u00ednez (Complutense University of Madrid). The Museum of Industrial Arts (1912-1927): material narratives of progress.<\/em>
-13h. Gemma Barricarte Armend\u00e1riz (Institute of History-CSIC-Madrid). Fossil culture and concrete: an exploration of the fossil industry in modern Spain through the construction of a tower building.<\/em>
