Editor of the emblematic socialist magazine <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/monthlyreview.org\/\"><em>Monthly Review<\/em><\/a><\/strong>, his contribution to the theory of the &#8220;metabolic rift&#8221; \u2013 which recovers an expression from volume 3 of Marx&#8217;s <em>Capital<\/em> regarding the irreparable alienation between society and nature derived from capitalist production \u2013 was anticipated in different works prior to the aforementioned book.
